ICOSA uses metaphors to explain dynamic principles of collaboration. In this issue we discuss infrastructure, represented by the spider, as a reminder of how important building solid foundations today will help solidify a sustainable future tomorrow. Infrastructure is the building block upon which our societies sit. It is not just roads and bridges; it is interconnected networks of technology and finance as well as social and economic systems. These networks and systems are pillars to achieve sustainable growth, because without infrastructure, nothing makes sense.
